We have 3 Christmas programs in 24 hours, tis the season for holiday recitals!
Kyler performed 2 songs for his piano recital.
Our morning advent seems to keep the season in check. It's hard for days to sneak by when you count them each morning with gratitude. Love this seasonal tradition.
Every year I promise myself I will get teacher & coach's presents out early. I wouldn't say I'm too ahead of the season, but I am getting them out, half a dozen at a time. We wrapped cinnamon bread loaves in scrapbook paper and bakery twine. Easy + gratitude expressed =success.
Love having my mom here to experience all of these things she's missed out on with the kiddos, being in MT. She is at everything with bells on, so fun.
Today is most important to our family because this evening-11 years ago- our Brooklyn Lee entered the world. She has an orchestra program tonight and then it's dinner and celebration to follow.
Lunch in the cafeteria today with Brooklyn and friends...it always provides comedy routines. They are such a bunch of silly, fun girls. Love it.
We have so much to be grateful for in our little family. The key seems to be slowing up enough to take notice and enjoy; my daily quest as mom.
