Kyler the Cub Scout.

This boy's dream has come true.

He's a Cub Scout.

After 2 years of begging and pleading

and not so patiently waiting...

He has found a troop

and become part of the "pack"

Kyler's lived in his scouts uniform since the 

day I brought it home from the Boy Scout store.

 He wears it with pride and took great care

in learning his Boy Scout Promise.

Last night I received a text from my neighbor that said

"Kyler just stopped by and saw us waking up.  

First thing he said was 

"are you okay, have you had a rough day?  I can get you some water.  

"yes, I'd love some, thanks Kyler" 

He said "it's what boy scouts do, we help people".

She continued 

 "WOW!!! I love Boy Scouts now, if I have another baby and it's a boy, Boy Scouts for sure!  Thank you Kyler LOL"

 Anyway, I thought that was cute and wanted to document it because he's taking this role very seriously after a long wait to finally join.

He's not as excited about a photo session as his sisters,

but I did manage to take a few minutes and grab these photos before his scout meeting.

It will be a great year for Kyler.

 I love to watch him thrive

and grow into the person he's meant to become.
