Day one

Kindergarten wipes this boy out. 

With friends/family visiting from out of state,

yesterday marked my first day solo- having all our children in school. 

I just wanted to journal and remember that It. Was. Surreal. 

And amazing. 

The grocery shopping alone & uninterrupted showering/restroom breaks were beyond expectation.  

It's really something I would recommend for anyone who hasn't tried it =}

And, despite my eyes habitually darting around for little one(s) whereabouts - I rested in the fact that it's ok to be ok with moving along at a slower pace- 

That season of babies at home, it went way faster than even what people told me. 

But now I think the hours they're at school will too. 

I'm actually really excited with where our family is right now. Activities, lessons, and sports are all starting up this week. Here's to a truly awesome & thriving year.
