Oh Spring.
How we appreciate you.
What else we adore is a full house
of those we love!
Again this Easter we got both.
For some reason, blogger won't let me upload all my photos and they're out of order.
But I'm impressed I actually blogged, so we'll leave it at that.
I hosted Easter again this year.
We had an awesome time with family, the B. family & neighbors.
Our cute neighbor who perches on the top of their ladder, waiting for some merwin boys to appear.
He knows he's welcome anytime to join the crazies.
We had food piled high for the holiday week.
I'm still full.
Our kids thoroughly enjoy our GoPro,
the videos they create are nothing less than hilarious.

Kayli was asked to perform at a church in Scottsdale, so we loaded up the troops and spent Easter at Scottsdale Christian Church.
They did an incredible job, Kayli performed better than I'd ever seen.
Afterward, the dreaded family pics.
Don't they look thrilled?
Sorry about that, Carter.
Easter baskets & the egg hunt were a hit.
I didn't even notice the tantrum throwing preschooler until I uploaded the pic.
Ooops.
Misti, bless her heart.
She told the kids... "you know what. I'm going to buy you something LIVE while I'm here. Hmmm...what do you need? How about a turtle"?
Yes, she did.
And yep, she got it all. Turtle, cage, food, light.
Giddy children, I tell you.

We were pleased that Carter did not lose all his skin this year in the AZ sun.
Other Easters have not been as successful.
We kept them both lotioned up, as seen above.
Josh got in on what it's like to have a 13 year old.
Have mercy.
Here she's seen trying to convince Josh as to WHY she needs to go to a friends house. For 1 hour. The night before Easter. He went through her cell phone. It's nice to see someone else roll their eyes at her once in awhile.
I told Brayden to brush his teeth twice after all the Easter candy.
Or
just use 2 toothbrushes.
at once.
Anything goes at the holidays.
good job, B.
Love, love having this family each Easter.
We do nothing but swim, relax, laugh.
And take kids out of school to fish.
Priorities running low with spring fever.
The tank top is far more hilarious if you've read THIS POST
Never gets old giving Josh a hard time.
I love looking through old posts when I've taken some pics of what things look like around the zoo. A few years later, it's either long broken or shown it's wear from many children :)
Our home is definitely lived in.
Not pristine & perfect.
