Love weekend <3

Happy surprise 13th birthday on Vday to Katie!

Breakfast feast, swimming, photo shoot and plenty of sunshine makes for wonderful memories!

I love this great group of girlfriends- new and old friendships blooming. They're a giggly and fun bunch.

Following the birthday fun, John and I drove to Phoenix to walk through our nearly completed mattress factory.  It was a reminder for each other as to why we haven't exchanged valentine gifts (or Christmas, birthday, ect :) for quite some time. Our investment into this building will eventually pay off. 

...it's almost complete. And it beats Walgreens. Pretty romantic date, eh?  Ha!

What a project.

The next morning the girls headed out with my parents to horseback ride and see "mystery castle" in phoenix.

We've been enjoying grandma and grandpa living in our casita since Nov. It's been the best winter having them here.

It is going to be a sad, SAD day when they go back to South Dakota next month :(. We don't even want to think about it!  We love having them here. 

So we will enjoy each day- the morning coffee talks, rides to school, Boy Scout help,  and play dates for Lily with her furry friends Daisy & Toby :) 

... life with supportive (parents) grandparents is priceless!  On both sides of our family- we are blessed.
